OVERVIEW
Yamaha sought to modernise its customer engagement approach by transitioning from a physical mail program to a digital email campaign system, dubbed Yamaha VIP 2.0.
This initiative aimed to replicate the essence of the physical mail program, which sent welcome mails and promotional offers to customers over a 2-year period, with a more contemporary, efficient, and flexible digital solution.
The goal was to integrate the program with Dotdigital for email campaigning while maintaining the flexibility to switch to other third-party tools in the future.

SOLUTIONS
1.Automated Campaigning Dashboard
Developed a 5-yea r program dashboard for automated email and physical mail campaigning, ensuring all customer data is processed and appropriately directed.
2.Product and Template Expansion
Included 10 products with multiple models (ranging from 50,000 to 1,00,000) and created 48 templates each in English and French to support dealer needs for communicating with customers.
3.Dynamic Dealer Dashboard
Introduced a dynamic dashboard for dealers, enabling them to add customisable blocks to email campaigns and set individual customer preferences for automated campaigns.
4. One-Time Campaign Flexibility
Provided dealers with the ability to create one-time campaigns, including the option to schedule for future dates and add customisable content blocks.
5. Dealer Profile Management
Implemented a feature for dealers to update their profiles and manage customer enrollments to the VIP program based on email availability.
6. Duplicate Email Prevention
Enabled a feature to prevent sending dupl icate emai l s to customers purchasing multiple products.
7. Customer Import and Insights
Added an import feature for dealers to include non-Yamaha customers in campaigns and integrated an insights tool to ensure campaign completeness with relevant images.
RESULT
Take2 Technologies solutions for the Yamaha VIP 2.0 project successfully transformed Yamaha’s
approach to customer engagement by implementing a flexible, efficient, and scalable email campaign
system. Dealers now enjoy a comprehensive dashboard that not only automates the email campaign
process but also offers enhanced customisation and reporting features.
